This event, started by JAPONICUS, is a pioneering event for REBEL MUSIC and MESTIZO (mixed) music, aiming to plant seeds of a new REBEL MUSIC not found in Japan. It is held not only domestically but also in China, the Basque region, Spain, France, America, etc. It has drawn significant attention worldwide as an event with strong messaging that raises issues for people. Moreover, RADICAL MUSIC NETWORK was held within Fuji Rock Festival in 2009 and 2013, creating a whirlwind of excitement that even caused entry restrictions.
This time, RADICAL MUSIC NETWORK is a special version celebrating the "Special 25th Anniversary," featuring themes of REBEL MUSIC, ROCK LATINO, MESTIZO, CUMBIA, REGGAE, SKA, and PUNK in an unprecedented scale of enjoyment. This year's lineup is incredibly luxurious. Giants representing the Basque region, FERMIN MUGURUZA, South Korea's SOUTH CARNIVAL, reggae legends RANKIN TAXI, THE ZOOT 16 (Toshimi Watanabe), CARIBBEAN DANDY, Hiroaki Hara of THE 3PEACE, STOMPIN’RIFFRAFF, and more, all solid artists are confirmed to participate. Additionally, overseas guest DJs confirmed for Fuji Rock include DISCOS FANTASTICO! (Peru), LEE K (South Korea), SATRIA RAMADHAN (Indonesia), and Aka DAVO (Spain).
