Celebrating its 29th anniversary this year, this long-established venue has witnessed many dramas and incidents, and has seen various sessions like no one else. Not everything goes according to plan, and there have been nights that didn't end as scheduled. Music is like entertainment; it is something you can live without. Yet, I want to believe that there have been nights when music saved us.
No matter how much you prepare, accidents still happen, and things go out of control..... The nightclub continues to writhe like a living creature. It's not just about providing music or interpersonal relationships. Every element intertwines to create a night. The standards of completion are merely the utopia I cling to; what is gained or lost has no relation to entertainment. Drinking, laughing, closing your eyes, listening closely, talking, getting lost in music, etc....
There is no need to question why you are in that place; what matters is whether that night will provide unexpected richness.
With that expectation, the anonymous gather. New encounters with music, people, and space are born; the thrill of yearning for music, encountering the unknown transcends knowledge, and gaining new emotions opens a forbidden path for those who live for the night.

At clubasia, where the weight of history spent over many hours speaks volumes, WHITE NIGHT, starting from zero, will open all floors, gathering artists who have witnessed many scenes across generations.

The Main Floor is governed by six different factions.
It starts with the hip-hop group Kōshin, which began with the 2MC style of nanoru namonai, then transitioned to TRUINE GODS composed of MC bleubird and beatmaker Scott Da Ros, unexpectedly rising in the midst of hip-hop, later progressing to explore Japanese expression and engaging in a wide range of activities spanning performing arts and traditional arts, inviting the versatile artist Shijin.
While remaining in the realm of language expression that transcends rap and flow, he weaves together an unyielding rhythm discovered through exploration, hard stepping, far surpassing the labels of “rapper” and “hip-hop,” producing words reminiscent of a preacher.

Furthermore, three figures surrounding BLACK SMOKER—K-BOMB, BABA, and Atsuhiro Ito, who uses self-made “sound tools” invented with fluorescent lights, will showcase live sessions, representing the identifiers of avant-jazz, improvisation, and freeform. The session of these three multi-talented individuals as beatmakers, MCs, rappers, producers, and sound artists is sure to produce unpredictable developments.

Releasing a mix CD titled “Mekano 1974-92” from BLACK SMOKER, resident DJ at Hachioji’s deepest listening bar SHeLTeR, appearing at numerous venues regardless of size, DJ/selector AKIRAM EN, with a strong lineup continues.

The unit GIZMO, known for their modern look, comprised of the masked collective Rave Racers' warai_motoko and UG, head of Pineal Gland, and their meticulous field-focused session is also highly anticipated.

Based in Shimokitazawa, one of Tokyo's premier local grounds, the DJ bar MEIMEI, and book café Kiryu-sha are operated by savezearth, linking the perspective on life and death that the body has acquired to DJing,

And the mysterious collective, whether human, animal, or inanimate, hosts the event.
We will refrain from touching upon Def Der Die Das here.
Witness them? It as they reverberate the Main Floor.

The Second Floor is where the banner bearers of alternative gather.
With a reputation as Japan’s first regular dubstep party, resident DJ HELKTRAM, who unfolds his unique soundscape focusing on dubstep, expanding into industrial experimental music, is at the forefront,
One of the organizers of the ecstatic festival Makai Nannyuu, Daichi Wago, and beatmaker Nobou, featured in Makai Nannyuu vol.3, join in,
The guardian of Nagoya's Yakuzen BAR from Sakae, Iriyama, itako leading the renowned fonk scene in Japan through GUNDARI,
Live from the two merging in harmony OKBOY × Dogwoods, and suimin, a DJ with an all-directional approach, plays innovatively,
Along with Shokuhin Matsuri a.k.a foodman, an electronic musician from Nagoya who continues world tours and traverses Japan, will perform a live set.
This could very well be a test space exploring the critical point of experimental music.

The Lounge Floor gathers true entertainers.
Leading is SEI, owner of the magical realm bonobo in Jingumae, with juggling master DOMMY, polyrhythmic tribal specialist hinaruko, MELTY organizer Masato Chiba, and DJ unit 142857 from the mysterious “urban legend” group RAW and RAPTUNTE joining in.
Not overtly showcasing their skills, but focusing on musical communication with the floor, feel the pleasure of a hedonist's paradise.

The sensory perception is honed to its utmost with TASC’s noise-infused visual art. When hungry, replenish with food from KIDOTAMA. A nightclub isn't just about dancing.
A lineup that encapsulates all in a multipurpose and dream-like setup is present.

Is the night white? Or is it black?
Are the norms and morals we are faced with truly correct? Do vivid attire, unconventional fashion, and large piercings create proof of alternative existence?

Relentless skepticism propels progress, and legends show their backs without allowing anyone to catch up.
Novelty and innovation become universal philosophies detached from the flow of generations and time.
How will cross-generational cultural exchanges, rooted in the street culture of hip-hop, unfold in different places?
If these words resonate with wandering souls, do not miss this night that could be a turning point.

Transcending the binaries of good and evil, an exposed spiritual realm will emerge.
Step into a paradise of sweet transgressions where only the sharpest edges are permitted! Burn the image of this night into your eyes.

On July 12th, in the heart of Maruyama-cho, Shibuya, clubasia proudly presents "WHITE NIGHT," hosted by Def Der Die Das.

Now celebrating its 29th anniversary, clubasia has seen it all—unpredictable nights, missed time slots, and events that refused to end. Music may seem like mere entertainment, something non-essential. But for many, there were nights when music was the only thing that saved them. No matter how much you prepare, things go off script. A nightclub breathes like a living organism. It's not just about music or people—it’s about how everything intersects to create a night. Perfection is personal, a private utopia. What you gain or lose doesn’t define entertainment.

Drinking, laughing, closing your eyes, listening closely, talking, getting lost in sound—it doesn’t matter why you’re there. What matters is whether the night touches your soul in an unexpected way. With that hope, strangers gather. Encounters with new music, people, and space unfold in the unknown. Love for music isn’t about knowledge—it’s about the privilege of feeling something new. And that privilege belongs to those who live for the night.

WHITE NIGHT begins from zero, in a place rich with memories. All floors of clubasia will be open, welcoming artists from across generations—witnesses to countless scenes.

On the Main Floor, six distinct forces converge.

First, Sibitt—originally one half of the rap duo Kohshin, later part of TRUINE GODS alongside MC bleubird and producer Scott Da Ros—has continuously evolved beyond hip-hop. His command of language transcends rap, with poetry and rhyme that defy labels. Like a prophet, he delivers words with unshakable rhythm and clarity.

Next, a rare live session by three core members of BLACK SMOKER: K-BOMB, BABA, and Atsuhiro Ito. These multi-disciplinary artists—beatmakers, MCs, producers, and sound creators—will deliver an improvised set full of raw unpredictability.

Also from BLACK SMOKER, AKIRAM EN, known for his deep, intuitive sound cultivated through his residency at Hachioji’s SHeLTeR and appearances at countless venues, joins the lineup with a mix that responds to the floor in real time.

Then comes GIZMO, the enigmatic duo of warai_motoko (from masked collective Rave Racers) and UG (head of Pineal Gland). Their modern, minimal image belies their uncompromising, floor-first approach to music.

From the heart of Shimokitazawa’s underground scene, savezearth—involved with DJ bar MEIMEI and book café Kiryu-sha—merges a philosophy of life, death, and the body into a DJ performance.

Closing out the Main Floor is the host, Def Der Die Das, binding the night with intensity.

The Second Floor transforms into a laboratory of alternative sound. At the forefront stands HELKTRAM, resident DJ of Japan’s legendary dubstep party Back To Chill, who sculpts industrial-infused experimental soundscapes. Joining him is Daichi Wago, the mind behind the surreal festival Makai Nannyuu, and Nobou, a beatmaker featured in party Makai Sannyu third volume. From Nagoya’s Sakae district comes Iriyama, the guardian of a Nagoya's underground scene through "Bar Yakuzen" while "itako", a leading force in Japan’s fonk scene through GUNDARI, injects street-born intensity. The intuitive live duo OKBOY × Dogwoods merge in seamless improvisation, and suimin, an unconventional DJ with a multi-directional approach, defies stylistic boundaries. Rounding out the floor is Shokuhin Matsuri a.k.a foodman, a Nagoya-based electronic artist whose live set draws equally from local roots and global exploration. Together, they stretch experimental music to its outermost edges.

The Lounge Floor brings together true entertainers. From the legendary Harajuku venue bonobo comes SEI, alongside juggling virtuoso DOMMY, polyrhythmic tribal specialist hinaruko, MELTY organizer Masato Chiba, and DJ unit 142857 (RAW & RAPTUNTE), from the mysterious "Urban Legend" collective. Prioritizing real-time communication with the floor over technical display, this is a paradise for pure hedonism.

Visual artist TASC sharpens sensory perception with noise-based programming, while food by KIDOTAMA keeps bodies nourished. A nightclub isn’t just about dancing—this lineup offers a rare fusion of chaos and dreams.

Is the night truly white—or is it black? Are the morals and norms we follow even real? Can bold fashion, vivid colors, and iconic self-expression become proof of living as an alternative?

Relentless doubt drives evolution. The legends move forward without looking back. True novelty doesn’t follow trends—it’s born from timeless philosophy. With hip-hop-rooted street culture at its core, this night becomes a living exchange of underground values across generations. If these words strike a chord, don’t miss this chance.

Transcend binaries of good and evil. Raw spiritual realms will emerge. Step into a paradise of sweet, forbidden ecstasy, where only the sharpest edges survive. Burn the image of this night into your eyes.
